In September 2014, I joined over 1000 artists in a "30 Paintings in 30 Days Challenge" Special Event. September was a busy month and I didn't complete as many as I hoped for.
On my Blog you can read the story behind each painting and see my painting process.
Because of the limited time allowed to complete each painting, these are considered studies* and not finished studio pieces.
*What is an artist study? In painting, an artist study is the term used for a small painting done to capture the essence of a subject or scene. This allows the artist to test the composition, colors, mood and technique. This exploration often creates a freshness not be seen in a more finished piece.
